1. Civic Decoration First Class (Left Medal)
- Material & Appearance: Gold-colored medal in the shape of a Maltese cross with a circular central medallion.
- Central Motif: The center bears an ornate monogram "LR" (Leopold II Rex), signifying the era of King Leopold II.
- Additional Details:
- The spaces between the arms of the cross contain stylized floral or decorative embellishments.
- The border around the central monogram is finely dotted.
- The ribbon is red with three vertical black stripes.
- The reverse side shows the same cross pattern.
- Condition Observations:
- The ribbon appears slightly worn with some fraying at the edges.
- The medal shows signs of age, particularly with patina on the metal.
2. Civic Decoration Second Class (Right Medal)
- Material & Appearance: Silver-colored variant of the same Maltese cross design.
- Central Motif: The same "LR" monogram in the center.
- Additional Details:
- The floral embellishments between the arms of the cross are present, similar to the First-Class medal.
- The ribbon is also red with three black stripes.
- The backside retains the same general design.
- Condition Observations:
- The ribbon is more visibly worn, with frayed edges and loose threads.
- The silver finish has some oxidation and tarnishing, which is expected with age.
